Julia lives in Southwest Michigan with her husband and 1 & 2 year old. Most days you'll find her out on the shores of Lake Michigan, sharing meals around her table, working on a new home renovation project, or serving in her local church body. Especially since becoming a wife and mom - the ability to reflect on images of her wedding day or growing children has become invaluable. Gifting that treasure to other people is an honor!
Julia is known for photographing normal people who don't specialize in posing in front of the camera - people who value natural tones, golden light, authentic smiles, rich relationships, and the beauty found in nature. That's her bread and butter: film-inspired color-grading and bringing out the best side of every client.
